An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Systems Architect to join a pioneering technology company developing next-generation communication systems. The role bridges RF engineering, embedded systems, and software-defined radio (SDR), supporting the design and delivery of advanced, software-driven products for high-performance applications.
Reporting to the product team, you'll play a key role in shaping system architectures, contributing to design specifications, and ensuring technical and commercial alignment across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support the definition and evolution of system architectures spanning RF, digital, and embedded domains.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Assist in developing and documenting system-level architectures for SDR-based platforms and related technologies.
Conduct research into emerging communications standards, software-defined architectures, and RF system innovations.
Participate in system integration, simulation, and performance validation, including lab and field testing.
Help maintain design quality, scalability, and interoperability across multiple hardware and software configurations.
Contribute to roadmap planning, feature prioritisation, and technical risk analysis.
Produce clear, structured technical documentation to support design reviews and compliance processes.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experience or strong interest in Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems or related technologies.
Understanding of RF principles, signal processing, and communication protocols.
Working knowledge of Python, C/C++, or other relevant programming environments.
Familiarity with FPGA-based or embedded development is desirable.
Understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies.
Analytical thinker with the ability to bridge technical detail and system-level design.
Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.
