Major engineering and infrastructure organisation, with an excellent reputation in the industry, requires a number of Mobile BMS Engineers in North London, York / NorthYorkshire, Stoke-On-Trent / Staffordshire, Birmingham / West Midlands, Telford / Shropshire andCambridge. Joining the thriving smart buildings unit, the purpose of the role is to deliver upgrades of critical Building Management System infrastructure for commercial, retail, government, educational and healthcare buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration and commissioning of BMS equipment, such as sensors, actuators, controllers and software systems
  • Perform maintenance checks on Tridium, Trend and Distech BMS
  • Offer technical advice and support to clients regarding their BMS systems
  • Work on call-out when required (paid overtime)
  • Put together proposals and quotations for work

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience of BMS - Building Management Systems
  • Proficiency using Trend, Tridium Controls/Siemens/Niagara/Distech
  • Knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC
  • Ability to read M&E schematics
  • Fault finding - electrical panels
  • AutoCAD
  • Controls experience and training
  • report writing
  • Driving licence
