MMP Consultancy are seeking an experienced Repairs Planner based in South East London.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Repairs, Planning & Damp and Mould Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services. This role combines repairs coordination, workforce planning, and damp and mould case administration, requiring both back-office efficiency and front-line service awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance works.
  • Manage damp and mould cases from initial report through to resolution, ensuring timely updates and communication with residents.
  • Liaise with operatives, contractors, surveyors, and residents to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of damp and mould inspections, actions, and follow-ups.
  • Use scheduling and housing management systems to allocate work efficiently and monitor progress.
  • Provide administrative support including documentation, compliance checks, and performance reporting.
  • Support front-line teams with real-time updates, job progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, ensuring clear communication and resolution of queries.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a repairs and maintenance environment, ideally within social housing.
  • Familiarity with damp and mould case management and related health and safety considerations.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce planning and scheduling systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both office-based and front-line teams.
  • Competent in using IT systems including Microsoft Office and housing/repairs management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Desirable:

  • Experience with systems such as Total Mobile, DRS, HSM, or similar.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, particularly around disrepair and damp/mould.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and vulnerability considerations in housing.
