Job Description:
Shorterm Group is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Fitter to join our team in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This position involves working on both petrol and diesel HGVs, performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance of petrol and diesel HGV fleet vehicles.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
* Perform inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure timely vehicle availability and operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
* Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
* Full, valid driver's license (mandatory).
* HGV license (advantageous but not essential).
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
