IT Support Engineer (Microsoft Windows O365) London to £60k

Do you have experience of providing level 3 support to a global user base? You could be progressing your career at a technology driven Hedge Fund (with billions under management), with continual learning and development opportunities.

As an IT Support Engineer you'll be part of a global team tackling diverse support requests from Investment Management professionals, operational teams and software engineers. You'll use a ticketing system to log and respond to requests, collaborating with colleagues to troubleshoot incidents and identify the root cause of the problem. You'll be empowered to use automation for repetitive tasks and processes, pro-actively suggesting improvements in a collaborative environment.

You'll be working with a modern Microsoft tech stack encompassing Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange as well as Azure / AWS. There's plenty of opportunity to upskill and get involved with lunch and learn sessions as well as on the job training.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in the Central London office on a full-time basis (5 days a week), then reducing to 4 days a week after 3 months.

About you:

  • You have experience of supporting users within a global finance environment
  • You have a strong knowledge of the Microsoft tech stack including Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange
  • You have strong scripting skills with PowerShell to automate daily tasks
  • You have a good knowledge Azure or AWS
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • You are degree educated in a STEM discipline
