About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Onsite IT Technician to join our growing team in the heart of Brick Lane, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a hands-on IT support role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position begins on a day-rate contract (£200/day), with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

  • Set up and maintain computer systems and peripherals, including imaging and deploying new hardware

  • Support users with Office 365, Windows 10/11, and other business applications

  • Assist with network connectivity, including basic switch, router, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting

  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party vendors as required

  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and asset management

  • Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, office moves, and hardware rollouts

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar onsite IT support role (1-2 years minimum)

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and standard desktop applications

  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks independently

  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Desirable:
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP, ITIL Foundation)

  • Experience supporting Apple Mac devices

  • Familiarity with Active Directory and remote support tools
