This is a chance for a DT Teacher to truly inspire students, teaching design, technology, and engineering skills from Year 7 to A-Level DT. What You'll Do as Our DT Teacher:

  • Teach exciting DT lessons, including Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Product Design.
  • Help students develop practical skills using various tools and materials in DT.
  • Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving in every DT project.
  • Prepare students for their GCSE and A-Level DT exams and coursework.
  • Work closely with other DT Teachers to enhance our department.
  • Foster a love for design and making through engaging DT activities.
  • Oversee student safety and workshop maintenance in DT.
  • Contribute to extracurricular DT clubs or design competitions.

What We're Looking For:

  • You must be a qualified DT Teacher (with QTS) and have a degree in a relevant DT field.
  • Experience teaching DT to secondary school students, including GCSE and A-Level.
  • A DT Teacher who is creative, practical, and passionate about design and technology.
  • Someone who can manage a workshop effectively and make DT lessons enjoyable.
