Overview

We’re looking for a creative and user-focused Product Designer to help shape the experience of a brand-new AI recruitment platform as it prepares to launch this summer. This is a rare opportunity to design a product as it evolves from Beta to full release and beyond—within a startup-style venture backed by the strength and stability of an established business.

You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional team to ensure the platform is intuitive, accessible, and impactful. From user research and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and design systems, you’ll play a key role in crafting a product that transforms how companies find and hire talent.

Join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values experimentation, innovation, and human-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to design end-to-end user experiences across the platform.
  • Translate product strategy and user needs into intuitive, elegant, and scalable design solutions.
  • Lead and conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand and accessibility standards.
  • Contribute to and evolve the product’s design system and visual language.
  • Support the transition of design ownership from agency to in-house, ensuring consistency and continuity.
  • Iterate on designs based on data, feedback, and evolving product goals.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices—especially in AI, SaaS, and recruitment tech.
  • Some support with designing visual assets for social media campaigns and marketing could be required

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, ideally in a startup or fast-paced digital environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design across web or SaaS platforms.
  • Experience designing for B2B and/or AI/ML products is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience conducting or collaborating on user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Experience in recruitment/HR tech is a bonus
  • Nice to have: Experience creating branded assets for social media or digital marketing.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working as standard
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Flexible holiday scheme
  • Paid time off to move home
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Enhanced family leave benefits
  • Insurance benefits including life assurance
  • Love Mondays events
  • Discount scheme including gyms and popular retailers
  • Range of wellbeing and mental health support avenues
  • Office in a fantastic location, with countless bars, restaurants and theatres right on the doorstep.
