Our client is now looking for aTechnical Designer.

As a Technical Designer, you'll be responsible for developing detailed technical drawings and production packs for bespoke joinery and kitchen projects. Youll work closely with the design and production teams, ensuring all drawings are technically accurate and ready for manufacture. Abackground in joinery and hands-on experience using tools or workshop machineryis essential, as youll need to understand how things are built, not just how they look on paper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed workshop drawings, production packs, and material schedules using CAD software

  • Translate concept and client-approved designs into fully resolved, buildable solutions

  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy

  • Attend site surveys and installations when needed to support coordination and quality control

  • Resolve technical issues and provide creative solutions to design or build challenges

  • Maintain drawing standards and project documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software); knowledge of SolidWorks, Rhino, or SketchUp a bonus

  • Solid understanding of materials, joinery techniques, and construction methods

  • Hands-on workshop or tool experience(essential) able to think like a maker

  • Ability to read and interpret technical and architectural drawings

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and finish

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Experience working on high-end residential projects preferred
