Automation Engineer - Golang / Kotlin
Stott & May are currently looking for an Automation Engineer - Golang / Kotlin to work for a large intl Banking & Finance giant on an initial 6 month contract.
Location: London (City) Hybrid
Rate: £350 - £450 per day/Outside IR35
The hand on experience with Golang or Kotlin is the primary skill set needed as you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automation scripts for IAM and AD.
You will work closely with the cloud teams to ensure the secure provisioning and management of identities across different systems, including Active Directory, Entra ID, and GCP.
Automation Engineer - Golang / Kotlin - Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Golang or Kotlin for IAM tasks
* Implement and manage SCIM provisioning for automated user life cycle management
* Integrate identity and access management systems with automation using Kotlin or Go.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. (Bonus points for experience with Terraform)
* Monitor and troubleshoot IAM systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Automation Engineer - Golang / Kotlin - Requirements:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Automation projects, with a focus on Kotlin or Golang for IAM tasks
* Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID and SCIM provisioning
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git)
* Strong understanding of security and compliance best practices
* Bonus: Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
