Job Description:
Our Globally Established Client is seeking a Senior Associate in Sustainability, with expertise across Green Building Certifications, to join their growing team in London working across a wide range of projects in the Real Estate and Construction space.Â
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sustainability assessments, proficiency in various environmental standards and frameworks - now looking to lead the Certifications team within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sustainability certification processes including BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and NABERS.
- Develop and implement carbon accounting and net zero strategies in alignment with the GHG Protocol and TCFD guidelines.
- Formulate and guide decarbonisation strategies to support clients in achieving sustainability goals.
- Collaborate on Science-Based Targets initiatives (SBTi) for clients.
- Design and promote nature-based solutions and biodiversity net gain (BNG) frameworks.
- Ability to win work and bring new business to the company.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients on sustainability matters.
- Facilitate sustainability workshops and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sustainability certifications and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of BREEAM, LEED, WELL, NABERS, carbon accounting, net zero and decarbonisation strategies.
- Familiarity with GHG Protocol, TCFD, SBTi, nature-based solutions, and BNG frameworks.
- Proven track record of Business Development.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
