Role: Product Owner - InsuranceSalary: £70,000-80,000 + benefits Location: London - 3 days per week (some flexibility)
We are working with a global insurance brokerage who are currently recruiting for 2 Product Owners to join their Digital Transformation team in the London office. They specialise in a range of different markets, including Aviation, Cargo, Marine and Mining along with numerous other niche areas.
They are looking for someone who has strong experience working within a fast-paced, challenging environment and is comfortable managing multiple different products at any one time. The successful candidate will ideally come from an Insurance background but they are also open to candidates from wider Financial Services
What You'll Do
- Create and manage the product roadmap and priorities for the success of the product
- Gather business requirements, identifying pain points and validate solutions with business
- Create, maintain & communicate requirements to the business analysis, user experience, user interface and development teams
- Gather and analyse insights from client feedback, competitors, peers and the insurance industry
- Support the creation of the backlog
- Host requirements gathering workshops and driving out tangible requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, executive owner, and team members
- Gather and document user stories that clearly articulate the business systems function and requirements
Experience Required
- 3 to 5 years as a Product Owner
- Background within Insurance, Wider FS will be considered
- Strong stakeholder management, an ability to advise and influence at senior level is key
- Will have owned your own products, sometimes multiple at once
