A well established insurance company in the City of London seeks a Credit Controller for a fixed term contract lasting 6 months, however there is potential for the role to go on longer. The company have a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chasing debts by email and/or telephone
  • Producing and rendering premium and contra debt statements
  • Working closely with Underwriting Teams to resolve unpaid premiums
  • Clearing cash receipts on the accounting system
  • Maintaining the unallocated cash items
  • Investigating received remittances from Brokers to identify relevent correct premiums to be applied
  • Dealing with internal/external queries in a timely manner

Experience and Skills required:

  • Experience of working in a Credit Control/IBA role in the insurance market
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience of using systems such as AS400 or Eclipse would be a bonus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to work
