A well established insurance company in the City of London seeks a Credit Controller for a fixed term contract lasting 6 months, however there is potential for the role to go on longer. The company have a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chasing debts by email and/or telephone
- Producing and rendering premium and contra debt statements
- Working closely with Underwriting Teams to resolve unpaid premiums
- Clearing cash receipts on the accounting system
- Maintaining the unallocated cash items
- Investigating received remittances from Brokers to identify relevent correct premiums to be applied
- Dealing with internal/external queries in a timely manner
Experience and Skills required:
- Experience of working in a Credit Control/IBA role in the insurance market
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Experience of using systems such as AS400 or Eclipse would be a bonus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with a collaborative approach to work
