The Role: This Trainee Mortgage Administrator role supports the Advisors and Paraplanners in order to get new mortgage applications across the line in an efficient and accurate manner. Key tasks will include:

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of mortgage and protection applications.
  • Liaise with lenders, clients, solicitors & other 3rd parties to progress applications smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using CRM systems.
  • Provide administrative support to mortgage advisers, including document collection, scanning and data entry.
  • Monitor and update case progress, chasing outstanding documentation when necessary.
  • Handle general enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.

Skills / Experience Required: For this Trainee Mortgage Administrator vacancy, our client is looking for people with at least 1 year’s administration experience within Financial Services/Banking. Good communication and organisational skills are key, as is the ability to work at a fast pace whilst ensuring accuracy and the ability to prioritise.
