An exciting opportunity has opened up for a client of mine for a permanent Legal Biller in their Central London office. They are both a fast-growing law firm and highly entrepreneurial business. Due to the nature of the business the successful candidate will have a broad and varied role within a hard working team.   

Duties

Processing invoices efficiently 

Processing credit notes

Uploading invoices to e-billing portals

Dealing with specific bill requirements then processing accordingly

Dealing with invoice queries and resolving any issues 

Dealing with credit control

Dealing with queries to ensure payment is received in a timely manner

Negotiating payment plans

Attending ledger/debtor reviews

Support the Team Leader as and when is required

Ad hoc duties

Experience

Legal billing experience is essential

Ideally educated to A level standard but a minimum of 5 GSCE's including English and Maths

Required Skills

High quality date entry skills

Advanced knowledge of invoicing

Strong numeracy and an eye for detail

Able to work as part of a team aswell as alone

Work well under pressure

Conscientious, approachable and enthusiastic

Confident in dealing with senior staff members

Experience of Word, Excel and Outlook

Excellent written and communication skills

Excellent telephone and office manner

Please note the role will be 2-3 days in the office and 2 from home at the start, there will then be remote working going forward.

Hours are 9am-5.30pm
