We're looking for a proactive, commercial Design Assistant to join our successful clients busy Woven Division, supporting the Design Manager and working closely with UK high street accounts. This is a fast-paced role with plenty of variety, from CAD design work and tech packs to hands-on garment steaming, running samples to head offices, and keeping the design process moving smoothly.   • Create and update CAD designs in line with customer briefs and trend direction.
  • Assist the Design Manager with all stages of the design process for UK high street accounts.
  • Prepare and update detailed tech packs for sampling and production.
  • Steam and prepare garments for meetings, photoshoots, and customer visits.
  • Deliver samples and materials to customer head offices and suppliers when required.
  • Support day-to-day studio organisation and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a commercial fashion design role, ideally within womenswear/wovens.
  • Strong CAD skills (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop essential) and confident preparing tech packs.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
  • A collaborative team player with great communication skills and a keen eye for commercial trends.
