Position: Design Consultant
Location: Greenwich
Salary: 25,000 - 28,000 + 7-10k OTE bonus
Due to growth, our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke commercial fixtures, is seeking a Design & Sales Consultant to support customers and the internal project team.
Job Overview
- Manage projects from initial enquiry to completion, ensuring deadlines are met
- Liaise with clients to confirm requirements and recommend solutions
- Review surveys and drawings for accuracy
- Prepare manufacturing and installation documentation
- Undertake site surveys mostly in London, with occasional assignments elsewhere in the UK and Europe
- Coordinate costed proposals and visual presentations for clients
- Provide detailed product information and specifications
- Work with the design team to progress and finalise orders
- Maintain project records and CRM communication logs
- Support general design and sales administration to keep operations running smoothly
Job Requirements
- Confident working in a client-facing role, communicating via email, phone, and in-person
- Experience or interest in design, surveying, measuring, manufacturing, or product specification (training provided)
- Background in design or related fields preferred (e.g., graphic design, kitchen or interior design)
- Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously
- Commutable to Greenwich, London
- Ideally holds a valid UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
- 25,000 - 28,000 + 7-10k OTE bonus
- Full-time, permanent (Monday-Friday, 9-5)
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Office-based 3 days per week + 1-2 days client visits
- Company car after probation (insurance, fuel, maintenance included)
- Mainly London travel with future potential for UK-wide and European travel
