The pupil has a diagnosis of Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) and a neuromuscular condition which affects movement, swallowing, and speech. The child is PEG-fed, uses a bone conductor hearing aid, and requires regular airway suctioning, which will be managed by the parent during sessions.
