Sonic Summary

Cegeka UK is seeking fluent Pashto and/or Dari speakers for the roles of Interpreters, Translators, and Interlocutors.
Successful candidates will work on behalf of a UK Government Client at a Central London site until the end of March 2026.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of residency in the UK for clearance purposes and possess proven experience in interpretation services.
The role requires cultural competence, active listening skills, and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

Cegeka UK are seeking Interpreters, Translators and Interlocutors who are fluent in Pashto and/or Dari speakers. This is on behalf of our UK Government Client, with successful candidates operating on Our Clients retainer until end of March 2026 at Our Clients Central London site.

Responsibilities

Interpretation Services: Provide accurate and timely document translations
Cultural Competence: Possess a deep understanding and appreciation of cultural nuances.
Active Listening: Conveying speakers intended meaning faithfully while maintaining impartiality and professionalism
Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity

Skills & Criteria

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto
Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities
Knowledge of formal documentation, and how to recognise if genuine
Proven experience in interpretation services
