JOB TITLE: STOCKROOM SUPERVISOR

JOB PURPOSE:

To support the Store Manager to maximise sales potential through the effective management and movement of stock.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stock / Stockroom

To work closely with Store Manager to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained within the store.

To achieve and maintain the highest standards within all store stockrooms, to ensure that the shop floor is actively replenished to agreed levels and timescales accordingly to budget.

To ensure that all deliveries are received in accordance with the Company guidelines and that any movement of stock is accurately recorded.

To ensure that all stockrooms are secure at all times and that all Health and Safety procedures are followed.

To identify, monitor, report, investigate and rectify any stock discrepancies.

To be fully involved in new project such us Omnichannel, New POS system rollout, new store openings

To fully support and, as necessary, personally conduct physical stock inventory when required.

Personnel and Training

To oversee and supervise the stockroom staff daily, working closely with the Store Manager.

To maintain staffing to agreed levels.

To plan staff schedules effectively to ensure the optimum use of available staff resources.

To ensure that all stockroom staffs performance appraisals are actioned within set timescales.

Store Profitability

To reduce stockloss, through effective use of security resources and in store teams.

To ensure the Company key holding procedures are maintained at all times

Health & Safety

To ensure that Emergency Procedures concerning Fire and Bomb Evacuation are communicated to all stockroom staff.

To know and understand the Company Health and Safety policy and ensure it is followed at all times.

To know and understand the accident reporting procedure.

To protect both customer and staff from any breach of Health and Safety.

General

To ensure accurate handover is communicated daily to the Store Manager.

To advice the Store Manager of any Breaches of the Company policies and procedures.

To carry out any other duties as requested by the Company to ensure the successful performance of the store.

Shop Floor

To support the store and the floor operations when necessary, by covering shifts patterns as required.

Proven track record of successful management of stockroom or warehouse.

Managing a team
