MERJE has partnered with a prestigious advisory firm to find a dynamic Principal Consultant to lead and manage advisory engagements, while spearheading business development initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in lending or wealth management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador for the firm across the industry.
  • Lead and manage multiple client projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop bespoke solutions to meet clients' regulatory and operational needs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project portfolios, managing client expectations and team tasks.
  • Produce weekly team updates and manage project budgets.
  • Drive business development through thought leadership, proposals, presentations, and client outreach.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of senior consultants.
  • Assist in recruiting new team members and represent the firm at industry events.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments and their impact on client operations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of the UK financial services sector and FCA regulatory framework.
  • Proven consulting experience, with expertise in lending or wealth management.
  • Alignment with the firm’s values: innovation, passion, engagement, and excellence.
  • Outstanding work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent multitasking, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
