Our Min Jiang Restaurant Kitchen is looking for an Commis Duck Chef to join a busy and dynamic kitchen.

As a Commis Duck Chef you will be responsible to assist the Beijing duck section and the Master Chef in the preparation and service of the Beijing Duck.

As a Commis Duck Chef you will:
  • To produce a good Beijing duck quality to a high standard on daily basis, and ensure Beijing duck section cleanliness, products quality, assisting cost control and temperature record.
  • Prepares the Beijing Duck, all sauces, stock and mixtures for daily operations.
  • Serves the Beijing Duck to guests in accordance to the service standards/procedure
  • To assist in any of the kitchen when requires by Master Chef
  • Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met
  • Ensures all cooking utensils are in operation and properly maintained.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of all cooking and storage utensils.

The authentic and traditional approach to Asian cuisine has made the restaurant the home of Chinese fine dining for over 10 years, the highlight of any visit is the exquisite Dim Sum and the Legendary wood fired Beijing Duck.



Eligibility
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, or be able to acquire such eligibility. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
