An exciting media organisation in London is looking for a Data Scientist to join them on a new forecasting project.
- Based in London
- Hybrid working, ideally 2-3 days a week in the office (flexible)
- 6 or 12-month contract
- Start date: End of June or early July
- £70,000 - £80,000 pro Rata
The JobAs a Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:
- Building forecasting models to track digital content performance
- Working with time series data, ideally using methods common in finance or trading
- Incorporating NLP where relevant and sourcing external data to enhance models
- Using cloud-based tools such as GCP, AWS, and BigQuery
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and clearly presenting data insights
- Taking part in a single-stage, in-person interview that includes a live coding task
You
- Strong experience in time series forecasting from finance, trading or logistics
- Comfortable working with external data and applying NLP techniques
- Confident using cloud tools (GCP, AWS) and BigQuery
- Self-sufficient and able to work flexibly in a hybrid environment
- Available to start at the end of June
