Senior Data Scientist - Up to £80,000 + Equity Options | Hybrid (London, 1 day/week)

We're working with a fast-growing tech-enabled business that blends performance marketing with advanced data science - and they're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their collaborative team.

The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join an award-winning company at the intersection of digital marketing and data innovation. They work with well-known consumer brands across sectors like retail, travel, media, and finance, delivering high-impact analytics projects and long-term measurement strategies.

You'll join a forward-thinking Data Science & Analytics team, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design, implement, and scale cutting-edge solutions around experimentation, predictive analytics, and marketing measurement.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Act as a senior point of contact on client projects, owning technical delivery and strategic direction

  • Design and implement solutions for incrementality, geo testing, and causal inference

  • Develop and deploy models for LTV, propensity, churn, and forecasting

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with innovation, product, and engineering teams

  • Mentor and guide junior team members

  • Work in modern cloud environments with access to rich client data (unusually deep for a consultancy context)

What They're Looking For
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL

  • Experience in cloud environments - GCP or AWS preferred

  • Hands-on knowledge of experimentation techniques (e.g. lift studies, A/B, geo testing) and predictive modelling

  • Familiarity with tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel (a plus)

  • Comfortable guiding stakeholders and translating business problems into analytical solutions

  • Preference for those from client-side or consulting backgrounds rather than traditional agency settings
