This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, close-knit planning consultancy that has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality planning advice across the UK. The team is made up of around 30 planning professionals who bring together a wealth of experience from both public and private sectors.

As an Assistant Planner, you will work on a diverse range of projects across sectors, gaining experience in strategic planning advice, planning appraisals, appeals, land promotion, expert evidence, EIAs, and placemaking consultancy. You will be mentored and supported by experienced professionals who are committed to helping you progress toward chartership and develop a rewarding career in planning.

What we're looking for:

  • A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline, ideally RTPI accredited.
  • Working towards MRTPI status (or planning to).
  • Some professional experience in planning - internships, work placements, or graduate roles all considered (preferred).
  • A positive, team-focused mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
