Associate Town Planner - London

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a highly regarded planning consultancy in their search for an Associate Town Planner to join their London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior role within one of the UK's most respected planning firms, working on a diverse range of complex and high-profile projects.

The Role
As an Associate Town Planner, you will:

Lead on a variety of major planning applications, appeals, and strategic projects across London and the South East.
Provide expert planning advice to clients across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes.
Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and repeat business.
Contribute to the management and mentoring of junior planners, supporting their professional development.
Play an active role in business development and work winning, helping to expand the firm's client base.
Represent clients at planning committees, hearings, and inquiries.

About You
The successful candidate will bring:

An RTPI-accredited degree and full Chartered Membership of the RTPI.
Extensive experience in planning consultancy, particularly within the London market.
A strong track record of managing complex planning projects.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
The ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
