About the Role:
My clients are looking for Civil Engineers with 4-8 years experience to join their growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of development infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of surface water and foul drainage systems, including sustainable drainage systems (SuDS)

  • Design of highway layouts in accordance with DMRB and local authority standards

  • Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) to support planning applications

  • Involvement in and preparation of technical documentation for Section 278, 38, and 104 Agreements

  • Liaison with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders

  • Delivering projects on time and within budget with attention to detail and quality

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

  • Proven experience in drainage and highway design

  • Solid understanding of SuDS principles and FRA requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of highway adoption procedures and agreements (S278, S38, S104)

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Civil 3D or similar)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Desirable:

  • Working towards or holding professional accreditation (CEng, IEng, or equivalent)

  • Experience working in a consultancy environment

  • UK Experience
