Civil Engineer - Drainage & Highway Design | London (UK Experience Required)
I am looking to speak with experienced Civil Engineer to join a well established team in London, working on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong background in SuDS, FRA, drainage, and highway design, with proven knowledge of UK design standards and Section Agreements.
Key Responsibilities:

Design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) in line with UK guidance and best practices

Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) for planning submissions

Detailed drainage and highway design for residential, commercial, and public infrastructure schemes

Preparation and coordination of drawings, reports, and technical documents
-
Experience working with and submitting designs under Section 104, 106, 278, and 38 agreements

Liaison with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of UK-based experience in civil engineering

Strong understanding of UK design codes (e.g., DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, Manual for Streets)

Proficient in industry-standard software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and AutoCAD
-
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
