An established and respected independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants is looking to recruit a Senior Town Planner to lead and develop its planning services. Renowned for delivering clear, strategic advice across the residential, commercial, rural, and development sectors, the firm supports a diverse client base-including private individuals, family businesses, and companies-in unlocking the full value of their land and property assets.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated planning professional to play a pivotal role within a multidisciplinary team. You'll take the lead on a wide variety of projects, ranging from strategic land promotion and planning applications to rural diversification initiatives. The position offers autonomy, leadership responsibility, and excellent prospects for long-term growth. You will work from their Prestwood, Buckinghamshire office base.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Significant post-qualification planning experience

  • A track record of success with both residential and commercial projects

  • The confidence to manage projects independently as well as collaboratively

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • A proactive, results-focused mindset with problem-solving flair

  • MRTPI status or working towards it (preferred)
