We are working on behalf of a well-established and design-led planning consultancy that's known for delivering high-quality, commercially astute planning advice across the UK. With offices nationwide and a strong portfolio of residential, mixed-use, and strategic land projects, this firm blends policy expertise with a collaborative, client-focused approach. Due to sustained growth, they are now looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their dynamic London team.

The Role

You'll be part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team supporting clients through all stages of the planning process. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse project pipeline-from large-scale urban extensions and regeneration schemes to sensitive greenfield developments-alongside some of the most respected professionals in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications and appeals
Conduct site appraisals and planning research
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
Contribute to the preparation of planning strategies and promotional work
Support senior team members on larger schemes, while developing your own client base

Requirements:

RTPI-accredited degree (or equivalent)
Working towards (or recently achieved) MRTPI status
1-4 years' experience in a planning consultancy or local authority
Strong report writing, communication, and project management skills
Passion for planning, with a proactive and client-focused attitude
