WASTE OPERATIVES AND LAUNDRY ASSISTANTS NEEDED FOR SUMMER WORK AT LONDON UNIVERSITY!JOBS STARTING FIRST WEEK OF JUNE!
8AM-4PM SHIFT! 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 PER WEEK, ROTA BASIS! EAST LONDON, MILE END.£13.85 PER HOUR, INCLUDES HOLIDAY ALLOWANCE!Your new companyYouwill be working with a leading university based in East London, within theirEstates and Facilities department. The team is responsible for providing a safeand efficient working environment for all university staff and students. EAFmanages all building services and the strategic development of the estate,contributing to the delivery of the university's strategic and operationalobjectives.Your new role
- External cleaning - of the university premises, including litter-picking, sweeping and possible pressure washing.
- Waste management - of bins across the campus and the main bin area. Must ensure there is no overflow of bins. All waste is emptied into the correct large bin containers which will be labelled.
- Laundry assistance - help to take delivery of clean laundry (bedsheets and towels) for the student accommodation and summer school. Deliver all clean laundry to correct campus accommodation buildings, and remove all dirty laundry. Dirty laundry must be put into trolleys, and put into containers to send for washing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in janitorial, waste and laundry duties.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Calm-natured and respectful of the university environment.
