Your new companyAn international law firm with a strong presence in London is seeking a talented Associate to join its expanding Corporate and Commercial team. With a global footprint and a reputation for excellence, the firm advises a diverse client base ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations across a wide range of sectors. Your new roleAs an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial team, you'll work on a broad spectrum of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory. You'll be responsible for drafting and negotiating legal documents, managing transactions, supervising junior team members, and contributing to business development initiatives. This is a hybrid role with flexibility and a supportive team environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified solicitor with relevant post-qualification experience - 0-2 PQE (guidelines only)
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to business development
  • Experience working with a range of clients, from financial institutions to SMEs
