The Associate Solicitor's roleThe successful Associate Solicitor will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious competition matters. This includes handling UK and EU merger control processes, representing clients in front of competition authorities, contributing to cartel defence strategies, and supporting clients in competition litigation before domestic and European courts.
The role will also involve direct client contact, a high degree of autonomy on matters, and opportunities to contribute to legal publications and thought leadership initiatives within the field of competition law.
The Associate SolicitorTo be considered for this Associate Solicitor role, you should have:
- Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales, ideally with 2-4 years' PQE in competition or EU law.
- Demonstrated experience in merger control, antitrust investigations, or competition disputes.
- A strong academic record and excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with high-calibre clients.
- A collaborative mindset and interest in developing long-term client relationships.
- Familiarity with regulated industries such as technology, energy, or financial services will be beneficial.
- Salary in the region of £90,000 to £110,000, depending on experience.
