- Manage your own caseload of child protection and care proceedings (with supervision and support).
- Represent clients at court and instruct counsel as required.
- Work closely with social services, guardians, and other professionals.
- Maintain high client care standards and strong advocacy skills.
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ plus)
- Prior experience in child care law during training (ideally a seat in family/children law or work as a paralegal).
- Passion for public children law and commitment to legal aid work.
- Panel membership or willingness to work towards Law Society Children Panel accreditation is a bonus.
