Opportunity for a Commercial, Tech & IP Solicitor to join leading Commercial Law Firm in London at Senior Associate level.

The Firm

Our client is a commercial law firm which has been established for over 100 years, specialising in media, music, sport, real estate, retail, leisure and tech.

They boast longstanding relationships with a broad range of exceptional clients, from large institutions and corporates to SMEs and entrepreneurs. They pride themselves on their modern and entrepreneurial approach.

The firm boast a leading Commercial & Tech team which is Legal 500 recognised for their work in Media & Entertainment and IP in London.

The Opportunity

Their Commercial & Tech team specialises in general commercial contracts, tech contracts, distribution arrangements, franchising & outsourcing as well as strategic IP and content advice.

They regularly act for clothing brands, restaurants, clubs, bars, and hotel chains, sports and media propositions and PropTech businesses.

The team is led by a leading Partner who is widely recognised as an expert in intellectual property law, IT and commercial matters, particularly in the media, sports, leisure, travel, entertainment and creative industries.

This is a pivotal hire for a close-knit team and one to work closely with the team's head of department. They're seeking someone who is confident in leading on high value matters and who has the ambition to fast track to Partnership.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Commercial, Tech & IP Solicitor with 5 years' PQE +
  • Proven ability in commercial drafting and handling Tech & Digital matters
  • Strong understanding of brand protection and commercial rights strategies
  • Experienced gained within a well-regarded London or regional firm
