Great opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor to join a leading City firm at Associate level.

The Firm

Our client is a highly reputable practice based in Central London who have received recognition by the Legal 500 for a multitude of their specialist departments.

The firm act for businesses all over the world and have a particular strength in the Financial Services, Technology and Professional Services sectors.

They boast a fantastic Corporate department who are Legal 500 accredited for M&A, Partnerships, ECM and VC work in London. They're now looking to hire an ambitious junior Corporate Solicitor.

The Opportunity

Their Corporate Group are recognised as having a particularly strong private M&A practice (with deal values in the region of £10m-£100m).

The department also advises on ECM and other public market deals including public takeovers and shareholder activism as well as venture capital investments and other private fundraisings.

They handle both UK-based deals and cross-border transactions, representing a range of clients, from start-ups to multinationals in the tech, financial services and professional services sectors.

As a junior Corporate Solicitor, you will be involved in:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of corporate documents including share purchase agreements, disclosure letters, shareholder agreements, articles of association etc
  • Conducting and coordinating due diligence and disclosure processes
  • Managing transaction processes including the signing and completion of deals
  • Attending and potentially leading on client meetings and conference calls

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Corporate Solicitor with between 6 months - 2 years' PQE
  • Experienced gained within a well-regarded firm in London or regionally
  • Strong experience in private M&A
