We’re representing a highly respected, multi-service Legal 500 and Chambers UK recommended law firm with offices across London, Bromley and St Albans. Due to ongoing expansion, the firm is seeking three Duty Solicitors to join their established and growing Crime Teams.

?? Duty Solicitor - London OfficeWork alongside expert legal professionals in the heart of London, representing clients at the police station and magistrates’ court. You’ll handle a varied caseload and enjoy close mentoring and progression opportunities.

?? Duty Solicitor - Bromley OfficeJoin a dynamic and supportive team handling a full range of criminal defence matters. You’ll manage your own cases, conduct advocacy, and have access to development through Higher Rights if desired.

?? Duty Solicitor - St Albans OfficeThis office offers a tight-knit, collaborative culture focused on supporting team members and promoting from within. You'll work on varied cases with guidance from seasoned specialists.

Key Responsibilities Across All Roles:

  • Represent clients at police stations
  • Manage your own criminal defence caseload across various offences
  • Conduct advocacy in Magistrates’ Court (and Crown Court if Higher Rights obtained)
  • Work with case management systems and contribute to a high-performing team

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year PQE in criminal law
  • Crime Duty Accreditation preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong advocacy, case management, and client care skills
  • Passion for publicly funded legal work
  • Professional, pragmatic, and positive approach to challenges
