A prestigious Central London law firm is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Employment Solicitor to join their growing team. With an emphasis on advising employer clients, this opportunity is ideal for a proactive Employment Solicitor with strong ER experience and a passion for delivering strategic HR support to a diverse business client base.

You'll work closely with the department's lead Partner, acting on behalf of companies of all sizes, from SMEs to large corporates, often across complex and sensitive matters.

The Employment Solicitor's role

The Employment Solicitor will act for employers across sectors on a range of non-contentious and contentious issues. You'll advise on disciplinary and grievance processes, misconduct investigations, restructuring and redundancy, TUPE transfers, and executive terminations.

In addition to advisory work, there will be involvement in training delivery, client seminars, and thought-leadership pieces, with a view to strengthening client relationships and building the firm's profile in employment law.

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Partner on high-profile instructions and growing the practice through business development initiatives.

The Employment Solicitor
  • 5+ years' PQE in employment law with an employer-focused caseload
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR procedures
  • Confident in handling complex ER issues independently
  • Able to build trust and credibility with clients at senior level
  • Desire to engage in business development and team expansion
