A leading boutique law firm based in London is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join their well-regarded and growing team. The successful Family Solicitor will provide legal advice and representation across a wide spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and domestic abuse cases.

The Family Solicitor's RoleThe appointed Family Solicitor will:

Provide tailored legal advice to clients in all areas of family law.

Assess case viability and funding, offering written cost estimates in line with firm protocols.

Draft and negotiate pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, divorce petitions, financial remedy orders, and child arrangement orders.

Represent clients in court on matters involving divorce, custody, spousal support, and protective injunctions.

Manage their own caseload, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Participate in business development activities, fostering new client relationships and supporting the team's growth.

Supervise and mentor junior team members.
To be considered, the Family Solicitor will ideally have:

A minimum of 10 years' PQE in family law.

Resolution accreditation or other relevant professional recognition.

Experience in NCDR, including qualifications in collaborative law or mediation (preferred).

Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.

An empathetic, client-focused approach and ability to handle sensitive matters.

Solid understanding of SRA rules, family law statutes, and legal aid or alternative funding options.

Familiarity with Lexcel or equivalent quality assurance standards.

Existing caseload advantageous but not essential.
