A progressive, authorised law firm regulated by the Bar Standards Board is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join on a freelance, fully remote basis. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated legal professional with a strong background in construction law and experience working on both national and international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on construction contracts, disputes, and regulatory compliance.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various construction agreements, including service contracts, subcontracts, and procurement documents.

  • Represent clients in dispute resolution processes such as mediation, adjudication, and international arbitration.

  • Conduct legal research and remain up to date with industry-specific legislation.

  • Support clients in understanding their legal rights and obligations.

  • Collaborate with other professionals to deliver well-rounded legal solutions.

  • Prepare accurate legal documentation and correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.

  • Proven experience in construction law (domestic and international).

  • In-depth knowledge of JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts.

  • Familiarity with international arbitration and adjudication procedures.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • A client-focused, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Applicants must prove that they are self employed
