ServiceCare Legal are currently seeking a talentedHousing Lawyer to join a South London local authority on a Contract basis. The primary responsibility of the Lawyer will be to deal with Housing Litigation matters, covering a wide range of housing management issues including
housing possessions, anti-social behaviour injunctions, housing disrepair, and homelessness.

Role:Housing Lawyer
Location:South London
Rate: 45-50ph umbrella /39.78ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / 35.50ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
Contract: 35 hours pw, 3 months initial with scope for extension

Office attendance is required once a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling Housing Litigation matters
  • Managing a complex caseload involving housing possessions, anti-social behaviour injunctions, and more
  • Drafting legal documents and conducting advocacy
  • Providing legal advice on compliance matters
  • Attending office meetings once a week

Required Skills:


  • Qualified Lawyer with experience in Dispute Resolution
  • Experienced of working with a local authority/public sector environment.
  • Strong knowledge of housing management issues
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills
