Intellectual Property Disputes Lawyer (2-5PQE)Position: Associate/Senior AssociatePractice Area: Intellectual PropertyLocation: LondonAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented mid-level Intellectual Property lawyer (2-5 PQE) to join a dynamic and highly regarded IP team in London.The RoleThis role offers the chance to work on a wide range of complex and high-profile IP matters for clients across IP-intensive sectors including technology, life sciences, and fast-moving consumer goods. The successful candidate will handle both contentious and transactional work, as well as standalone advisory projects.Key responsibilities

  • Advising on licensing arrangements, transaction structuring, infringement and clearance strategies, prosecution, and validity issues.
  • Handling High Court proceedings involving trademarks and life sciences.
  • Representing clients before the UK IPO and the CJEU.
  • Delivering complex cross-border IP licensing projects across multiple sectors.
  • Providing strategic IP advice and freedom-to-operate assessments for patents and trademarks.
  • Supporting clients in matters relating to parallel imports and IP settlements.

Your ExperienceWe are seeking an exceptional lawyer with:

  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in IP law gained at a top-tier firm or in-house.
  • A strong grounding in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters.
  • Experience across life sciences, technology, and FMCG sectors.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach.
