Opportunity for an International Arbitration Solicitor to join a international, Top 50 law firm in London at Associate level.

The firm

My client is a highly reputable city firm who have established an international reputation for excellence across Europe, the Americas, Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa.

They specialse in high-value and complex disputes for both corporate and individuals and have a strong reputation for innovative and ground-breaking litigation.

The firm comprises some of the UK's leading litigation lawyers, many of which are recognised as some of the strongest in their field.

Their Legal 500 recognised International Arbitration team are now looking for International Arbitration Associate to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

The department specialises in high value and complex cases, all of which feature international elements such as different domestic laws and arbitration seats.

They are experts in commercial and investment treaty arbitration and work across various jurisdictions, including the UK, India, Africa, and Latin America, the Middle East and the United States.

The team also advises on arbitration-related litigation before the English courts and the enforcement of arbitral awards overseas.

This is a very busy, close-knit team who are looking for ambitious International Arbitration Associates who can hit the ground running and have the ability to take on a high level of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Qualified International Arbitration Solicitor with between 2 - 5 years' PQE
  • Either UK Qualified or Foreign Qualified with some experience working in the UK
  • Strong understanding of English arbitration law, specially the rules of key arbitration institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and ICSID
  • Experience gained a reputable London law firm
  • Academics: Min 2:1 at undergraduate degree and commendation at LPC
