Birchrose Associates are pleased to be partnering with a full service law firm in London, seeking a Locum Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to start ASAP for 3 months +.The OpportunityOur client, a well-regarded law firm in London, are recruiting for a Locum Family Solicitor or Legal Executive. The locum is required to assist whilst the firm recruit on a permanent basis, likely to take 3 months +.The ideal locum will be based in the office, with an element of hybrid working considered. They are looking for the locum to work part time hours, circa 3 days per week.~ResponsibilitiesThe Locum Family Solicitor or Legal Executive will assume responsibility for a varied private family caseload. Matters to include:
- Divorce / Dissolution cases
- Financial settlements
- Pre-nuptial and post nuptial agreements
- Cohabitation agreements
- Child arrangements
You will have the support of a Paralegal whilst carrying out this role.Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of £45-£50 DOE
- Hybrid working
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience as a Locum Family Solicitor / Legal Executive
- Experience handling busy and varied private family caseloads
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
