A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its top-ranked Public Procurement team. With offices across the UK and a highly regarded reputation in sectors such as housing, health, local government and infrastructure, the team advises on complex, high-value procurement matters for public, private, and third sector clients.You’ll work closely with a Chambers-ranked partner and senior lawyers on high-impact matters under the Procurement Act, Provider Selection Regime, and Public Contracts Regulations, supporting a diverse client base on advisory and transactional procurement issues.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on procurement strategy, structures, and regulatory compliance across a range of projects.
  • Drafting and reviewing tender notices, selection questionnaires, invitations to tender, evaluation protocols, and transparency notices.
  • Advising clients on the Procurement Act 2023, Utilities and Concessions Regulations, PSR, and associated frameworks.
  • Supporting clients through procurement processes and challenges, including risk management and governance.
  • Engaging in client-facing business development, including events, training sessions, and article writing.
  • Supporting internal knowledge sharing and contributing to training of junior lawyers and trainees.
Ideal Candidate:
  • England & Wales qualified solicitor with 2–7 years’ PQE in procurement law.
  • Demonstrated experience advising on public procurement, ideally within housing, health, local government, energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Technically strong, with a commercial and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Strong drafting and client communication skills.
  • Interest in contributing to business development and internal training initiatives.
  • A team-oriented mindset and strong organisational skills.
