We are currently partnering with a Local Government based in Surrey, who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their accomplished team on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week, the rate of pay will be negotiable based upon experience, start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing the transfer of land from District to Parish or Community Group level
- Handling over 50 active property files, including complex title reports and intricate land law issues
- Providing support for standard local government legal work during quieter project periods
- Assisting with overflow housing litigation on an ad-hoc basis
Experience required:
- Experience required in a Local Government Setting
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant property law experience
- Proficient in handling large caseloads and working with minimal supervision
- Experience with legal case management systems
