Your new companyA specialist financial services group is recruiting a real estate finance lawyer to join its team on a 12-month assignment. The firm has an international presence, and works with corporates, institutions, and HNWIs, to whom it offers bespoke solutions. The team has a flat structure and a great culture, with a healthy approach to working hours.Your new roleWorking in the Real Estate team, you would provide legal support for the team's wealth management work with its clients.

  • Provide legal advice on real estate finance matters, balancing risk and commercial needs.
  • Manage external counsel and support efficient deal execution.
  • Maintain legal templates and support governance processes.
  • Collaborate across teams to address legal risks and enable transactions.
  • Stay informed on business developments and contribute to credit forums.

You will be leading on work across a diverse spectrum of real estate, within a collaborative and positive environment.What you'll need to succeed

  • 7+ PQE real estate finance lawyer with expertise in property-backed lending and syndicated transactions.
  • Strong technical grasp of financial regulation and legal documentation.
  • Experience with Loan Market Association documentation, due diligence, and general lending frameworks.
  • Independent and capable, a self-starter.
  • Ability to deliver clear, practical legal advice with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic, and detail-oriented.
