A leading commercial law firm based in Central London is looking for an experienced Real Estate Finance Senior Solicitor to join their well-established property finance team. With a strong client base including lenders, developers, and institutional investors, this is a great opportunity to work on high-value, complex transactions across the UK property market.

The successful Real Estate Finance Senior Solicitor will be joining a respected legal practice known for its collaborative culture, strong internal progression, and exposure to a broad spectrum of real estate finance work, including development finance, investment funding, and portfolio refinancing.

The Real Estate Finance Senior Solicitor's role

As a Real Estate Finance Senior Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of secured lending transactions on behalf of both lenders and borrowers. The work spans across commercial and residential real estate, including acquisition finance, development finance, and refinancing.

You will also take a leading role in supervising junior team members, liaising directly with clients, and contributing to business development initiatives. The role is suited to someone confident handling transactions autonomously while supporting wider team objectives.

The Real Estate Finance Senior Solicitor

  • A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)

  • Solid experience in real estate finance, ideally gained within a recognised commercial law firm

  • Strong technical skills in secured lending, title review, and property due diligence

  • Comfortable working closely with lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions

  • Able to supervise junior solicitors and contribute to team growth

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
