We are currently partnering with a Shared Legal Service based in South London, who are recruiting for a Residential Property Lawyer to join their accomplished team on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week, the rate of pay will be negotiable based upon experience, start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Advising on lease extensions, variations of title, and restrictive covenants
  • Supporting residential development projects including plot sales and site set-up work
  • Liaising with internal departments, developers and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks

Experience required:

  • Public sector experience is beneficial but not essential

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
  • Confident using legal IT systems and case management software
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy, varied caseload
