A top 100 law firm is currently seeking an Associate to join their busy and dynamic Residential Property team in London.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload, handling property transactions efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality, commercially focused legal advice while delivering outstanding client service.
  • Take responsibility for a diverse range of property matters and transactional projects.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather instructions and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Work closely with partners to prepare tailored legal solutions for clients.
  • Scope and price legal work appropriately, with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Support and develop strong relationships with clients, partners, and senior lawyers.
  • Build your personal profile as a knowledgeable and trusted Residential Property lawyer.
  • Take ownership of business development initiatives within the team.
  • Expand your professional network by building relationships with clients, contacts, and referral sources, and attending networking events.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and grow your internal network across the firm.
  • Consistently manage time recording, monitor WIP, and oversee billing processes.
  • Work towards individual and team KPIs, actively tracking performance.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (4-6 years' PQE)
  • Proven background in residential conveyancing and transaction management.
  • Strong client and project management skills, with a keen focus on service delivery.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective team player, able to collaborate within a close-knit group
